As we shared for the past two weeks about "the Holy Spirit doing the most" from Romans 8, the Spirit praying through us (v.26-27) is one of the incredible ways that He helps us. While this doesn't only mean praying in tongues, it certainly can mean that. We see in scripture that the gift of tongues is a sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. There is so much good stuff to unpack when we talk about Spirit baptism. We don't have a chance to preach on it as often as we'd like to, but perhaps the Holy Spirit and Spirit baptism might be something new that you'd like to study more. I know that many of us don't come from a Pentecostal background and this might be unfamiliar territory. Here are some resources to get you started and as always, don't hesitate to reach out to me with more questions or insights. I'd love to hear your story and share in your journey.
Be filled!
