Connecting Point: Newcomer’s Edition
If you’re new to Freedom you’re invited for lunch on Sunday, January 27th (right after the service). We’re going to talk about our mission, vision and core values, introduce you to our staff and give you a chance to ask any questions you have. Looking forward to seeing you there! (Just sign up to let us know you’re coming…)
Here's what you can expect.
If you're checking out Freedom on a Sunday morning, you will experience energetic and passionate music with the invitation to sing along, solid and relevant teaching from the Bible with a focus on how Jesus transforms our lives and the chance to meet some new people from our community.
We're committed to giving everyone a chance to connect with God and experience Him in a personal way. We won't centre you out or embarrass you in any way, but we're open to your questions and would love to get to know you better.
If you're a parent and you'd like your child to be involved in our children's program, you'll be asked to register your child at our Check-In station when you arrive at church. You'll get a sticker for your child and one for you that our children's team will ask to see when you pick your child up from their program. This system helps us to ensure the safety of your child and gives you peace of mind as well.
Infants (0-18 months) can join their program (in the Nursery) 5 minutes before service, where they will enjoy age appropriate care and activities.
Toddlers (18 months - 3 years) and Elementary age (JK - Grade 6) will spend the first 15- 25 minutes of the service with the adults and are dismissed to their programs after that. That way, you get to experience church as a family and your kids get something especially designed for them as well.
The service starts at 10:00 and finishes about 90 minutes later. We'd love to see you there!
Here's how you & your family can connect during the week.
